If you are experiencing problems during pregnancy, labour or shortly after childbirth, or other gynaecological problems, the Women's Assessment Service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No appointment is necessary.

The WCH provides state of the art obstetric and gynaecological care, and encourages women to participate in making decisions relating to their care. Women may experience health conditions that are unique to them. The WCH offers women a range of gynaecological services and provides advice on all areas of female and reproductive health.
Women who have their babies at the WCH have a range of options regarding the care they receive throughout their pregnancy, during and after the birth of their baby.

For people coming to the WCH from out of town, our information for visitors to Adelaide may be of use. Visitors are welcome in our Hospital. Visiting hours vary according to individual needs. Please contact the ward before coming to visit.
