Safety and Quality Unit
The Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) is seeking staff, consumer and stakeholder feedback into the Excellence in Care Matters survey from Monday, 31 July to Friday, 11 August 2017.
The survey will help us identify what elements make up the concept "excellent care"; what WCHN is doing well in terms of delivering excellent care for every person, every time; what the priorities for improvement should be; and what learning and development needs are critical to achieving success. This valuable feedback will help us develop the WCHN Safety and Quality Framework and Strategy.
An interactive display will be set-up at the Café, located in Zone A, floor 2 at the Women's and Children's Hospital. This will be open from 7:30am - 7:30pm everyday throughout the consultation period. The questions posed at the display will be the same as the online survey, and participants will have an opportunity to showcase their views and reflect on feedback provided by others if they wish to do so.
Gallery B, located in Zone D, floor 1 at the Women's and Children's Hospital will feature artwork created by our consumers, reflecting on their personal journeys and experiences with WCHN. The pieces of artwork on display will trigger reflective thinking about excellent care in a health care setting, connecting to the consultation theme.
A series of short videos, featuring a diverse group of consumers and staff, have been created to share with you what excellent care means to them. You can watch these here:
Consultation closes Friday, 11 August 2017.
The Excellent Care Implementation Workgroup within WCHN will collate all feedback from the consultation to inform the development of the WCHN Safety and Quality Framework and Strategy.
There will be an opportunity for staff, consumers and stakeholders to provide feedback on the draft WCHN Safety and Quality Framework and Strategy, prior to final endorsement.
To keep up-to-date with the development and implementation of the Framework and Strategy, visit this page on a regular basis or email email@example.com.
