The WCH Human Resources Department (HR) provides advice and support to management and staff at the WCH on all staff and employment matters including:

• Recruitment and Retention
• Employee Relations
• Training and Development
• Payroll Services
• Human Resource Management System (HRMS)

The WCH has in place a number of Organisational Development initiatives to ensure that the hospital can retain, develop and reward our current staff and attract highly skilled individuals.   These initiatives can be grouped into five broad areas:

• Workforce capability
• Culture
• Systems and processes
• Technology and assets
• Structure and governance.
