Children and Families Integration ServiceChildren and Families Integration Service is a flexible child and family development program which intervenes early for families with complex issues either during pregnancy or during the important early years of a child’s life. Families eligible for the service need to be experiencing medium to high levels of active adversity, be pregnant or have a child 3 years or younger and live in the north or western metropolitan suburbs. The service adopts a strength based approach which assists families to build on their strengths and develop protective factors to reduce the level of adversity the family and children are experiencing. The service provides guidance to families to strengthen their child-parent relationship and supports the family to access other services which can meet the needs of the family.
