Friends of WCHThe Friends of the WCH was formed in 1989 as a result of the amalgamation of the Queen Victoria and Adelaide Children's Hospitals. The Friends Association has approximately 2,500 members and is divided into four divisions: As well as being wonderful ambassadors for the Hospital, members of the Friends have also taken on a new role as Ambassadors for Good Health, through the "Friends Promoting Good Health" program. This program is a partnership between the Friends of WCH, Corporate and Community Relations, the Department of Nutrition and Food Services and the Centre for Health Promotion. It aims to encourage the Friends of WCH to promote the Hospital's health messages in the wider community. This group of dedicated people provides invaluable fundraising and practical support for the Hospital. For more information contact Special Projects and Community Relations (08) 8161 6439
