The Women's and Children's Hospital has a commitment to provide visitors access to patient wards in line with our person and family-centred care approach.
Family and friends of patients at the Women's and Children's Hospital are welcome to visit.
The Hospital is located at 72 King William Road, North Adelaide. There are car parks and entrances to the hospital on Kermode Street and the corner of Brougham Place and Sir Edwin Smith Avenue. Click here for a map of the hospital or here for a street map.

Visiting hours vary according to the needs of individual patients. Please contact the ward where the patient is staying before coming to visit.
Visiting hours in the postnatal and antenatal/gynaecology wards are from 1pm to 8pm daily. A rest period is encouraged between 1pm and 2pm. Visitors will not be admitted during this time.
At all times space must be available at the bedside to allow staff safe access to patients and emergency equipment. Please ensure that there are no more than three visitors at one time. In some instances there may be further restrictions on the number of visitors allowed.
