About the WCH

WCH Administrative Structure

The Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH) is a publicly funded hospital, an agency of SA Health, and is controlled by the Link iconMinister for Health.

The WCH is managed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Link iconWomen's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) who reports to the Chief Executive of SA Health.

In December 2004, the Chief Executive announced the Executive structure for the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN).

The structure includes both strategic and clinical leadership positions, and has been designed to ensure that the WCH is able to successfully respond to the objectives of the Government's health reform agenda.
